We are recruiting Security Analyst L1 who will be based in Mauritius. The ideal candidates should have a real interest in working in Technology.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitor security events and escalate accordingly.
- Implement and manage security tools.
- Troubleshoot and respond to requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare regular Cyber Security reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Monitor real time security events for client environments.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and determine the root cause of incidents.
- Escalate the issue to correct contacts
- Implement and manage Cyber Security solutions.
- Proactively research and monitor security information to identify potential threats that may impact the organisation.
- Create and Deliver Reports.
- Able to work on shift schedule, 24x7x365 coverage, including holidays and weekends.
- Available to travel overseas for implementation of projects.
RECOMMENDED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of Network Infrastructures.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of different operating systems (such as Windows, Unix and Linux).
- Customer centric.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written (English and French) communication skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Taking Ownership and Responsibility.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology or any related field.
- Professional Certification Comptia Network+, Comptia Security+, CEH / Incident Handling certifications or equivalent will be an advantage.
