We are recruiting Network Engineers. The ideal candidates should have a real interest in working in Technology.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning, Design, Implementation of network and security related solutions and projects;
- Provide technical support to customers on related incidents and maintain Incident Management;
- Configuration of routing, switching, wireless, voice and firewall equipment;
- Configuration of advanced network/security equipment – Web Application Firewalls, Load Balancers, Cloud Security Solutions etc.;
- Develop and maintain customer relations;
- Participate in R&D activities;
- Complete trainings, certifications and continuous professional development as required;
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/Networking/Computer Science;
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT/network related position is desirable;
- Relevant IT industry certification such as CCNA Routing & Switching or any other similar certifications;
- Hands-on experience on Cisco and other vendor solutions;
- Experience in solution design, implementation, presales or project management would be an advantage;
- Experience in Programming, Scripting, Web Solutions, Cloud Solutions, Virtual Machines, Linux, Windows Servers would be a plus.
SKILLS:
- Must possess a good knowledge of network characteristics and network components;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Eye for detail – Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Willingness to work at odd hours;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written (English and French) communication skills.;
- Positive attitude and excellent team spirit;
- Willingness to learn new technologies and the ability to practically apply the associated principles and practices;
- A valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
