Hosted by Curtin Mauritius — an international campus of Curtin University and a proud education partner of Charles Telfair Education — the second edition of Game of Code brought together future-ready minds and industry leaders for a one-of-a-kind coding challenge.
This year’s theme, “Your Human Twist”, encouraged students to go beyond the technical and explore how artificial intelligence can support student mental health — while keeping empathy, creativity, and emotional intelligence at the centre of their solutions.
Over 80 students across 20 teams from five local tertiary institutions — including Curtin Mauritius, University of Mauritius, University of Technology Mauritius, Middlesex University Mauritius, and Polytechnics Mauritius — competed across multiple days of intense ideation, prototyping and pitching.
The competition culminated in live demos and solution pitches in front of a jury of 18 industry professionals who offered expert feedback and selected the standout projects.

Backed by 13 industry partners including DayForce, RAPP, Infomil, Accenture, ICPS, IBL, and Deloitte, Game of Code 2025 proved to be more than just a tech competition — it served as a launchpad for local talent, a platform for mentorship, and a unique bridge between education and industry.
